Run by a South Indian couple, this stall is the favorite-est among all who work / stay around Sandesh Press Rd, Vastrapur.

You would simply fall in love with the simplicity in taste. Priced at as cheap as Rs.15 for Upma / Idli and Rs.25 for Masala Dosa, it’s the perfect place for a quick lunch during wee hours.

Mind it - the stall remains only till the stocks last, say from 11AM to 3PM. The only challenge is that this beautiful South Indian couple doesn’t understand Hindi except those four most important words - Idli, Dosa, Upma, Wada!

An exhibition is called ‘real good one’ when you have different types of products displayed under the same roof - a place where you get antique stuff, accessories, dresses, paintings, home-décor, cakes … ! You hardly get to visit such exhibitions in Ahmedabad.

Kajal, Komal & Suhani, 3 sisters behind 9 Rock, are people who love to travel and collect souvenirs & specialties from all across the world.

They have come up with an idea of selling some great old stuff from all across the world such as Pepsi cola bottle radio (year 1974), jewelry from South Africa, salt and pepper bottles (year 1970), wallets from New York, Cathay Pacific Camera (year 1975 ), Fur, Antiques in metal, paintings from Van Gogh, Coasters from Venice, and many more. We assure you that you will regret if you don’t visit this place.

Mangaldas Ni Haveli

So you have heard about House of MG? Have you also heard about Mangaldas Ni Haveli? Yes? Have you been inside? We hear “NO” from most you and hence here is a sneak peek into the 200 years old Haveli, considered to have one of the best carved wooden architecture.

We must tell you that photography is not allowed and we are just so glad, CityShor was still allowed to click photographs inside Mangaldas ni Haveli. But tell you what … no photographer can do justice to the beauty of this Haveli.

 

Estimated to be around 200 years old, Mangaldas ni Haveli is located in Khadia,

the heart of the historic walled city of Ahmedabad. It originally belonged to a Nagar Brahmin family and is one of the finest examples of carved wooden architecture typical of that time. It was bought by the Mangaldas family in 2006 and has been restored with the help of the Heritage Cell of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. There also used to be a café which has been closed down, owing to the parking issues.

Chnages in Ahmedabad

The Cityshor Ahmedabad has done many changes as per public demand. The first change is from IPL starts they added the venue and of IPL match to be seen in open space in any of the Café and the each team has different different Supporter Café, that we don’t know and we were gone there and happy to watch matches there. 

I was gone with my wife at Cafe New Moon and found it is very interesting. The another change is Cityshor Ahmedabad covers awesome people and this is new thing for any Facebook Page , they covered the story of two NRIs who made brilliant growth in just only 10 months. The one change is that Cityshor Ahmedabad  started email services to all page people and it is too good change I like. 

Another change is that Cityshor Ahmedabad started more contests as earlier and one different thing is that in all contest the matter of contest is different from other pages and it requires brilliancy also.
